|

| Hey Fellas its 123 from the mj chat. I got myself 2 innomedia 6328-2re's laying around. I hooked one up for MJ use and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in trading for my other one(its unlocked of course). I'm new to the whole ATA and VOIP scene and figure the more experience the better. Interested in the spa2102-r if anyone would be willing to part with it. If trade talk is out of line for this forum please delete. But I believe I read no rules for the forum so hopefully this will fly. Thanks for reading and happy hacking |

IMO the SPA is a far superior device, so a fair trade would need additional compensation.
The SPA allows you to use each line with different providers, offers great flexibility e.g rewriting numbers, is smaller and lighter, consumes less power, can run on the power in any country, is more secure, and has better voice quality under impaired network conditions. Plus, hundreds of other features not mentioned here. |

fair enough. I was simply going by resale value and it seems as though they are both going for more or less the same price on ebay. I guess I was just hoping someone was curious as I was with different equipment and wanted to give it a run. Thanks for the info as it is leading me to research the device even more |

Thanks for the tip. I have had my eye on there. I figured it wouldnt hurt to see if anyone wanted to trade as it wouldnt cost me any additional $ They are going for dirt cheap on there. |

well I bit the bullet and bought one on the bay . Thanks for all that info Stewart. It sounded like such a neat piece of equipment that I couldnt resist. Plus for ~$20 you really can't complain that much. My 6328 has wonderful sound quality and 2 lines but you can only configure it to 1 provider. Not really an issue but I am now becoming addicted to VOIP and want my gizmo project number active on there as well. I went from not having a home phone for 6 years to now having 2 lines in a matter of 2 months Also kind of a side question, Do you know if you can program the spa to automatically register a "1" when answering to satisfy the grand central requirement to accept a call. |
