| Does anyone know when this is supposed to be happening? I am really looking forward to keeping my old phone number and porting it over to MJ. |

They haven't said anything about it in a long time.
But I'm sure it's "coming soon" _________________ Morpheus: What is "coming soon"? How do you define "coming soon"? |

Yeah, I think there is a 50/50 chance.

I finally gave up on porting and signed up for the next2nothing plan with voicestick. I have it setup only for voicemail and it basically gives a recording with my new grandcentral number. I pay 1.2 cents a minute for any messages they leave with voicestick. Otherwise, there is no charge. This will catch anyone I forgot to give my new number too for very little cost going forward.
I thought of going with phonenumberbank, but I couldn't justify paying $120/yr for a phone number I rarely use. |

| I have voicestick too. For awhile I was gonna port to Onesuite for $3 a month unlimited incoming because Voicestick was starting to suck but they changed things around. Onesuite had porting issues so I ended up canceling with them. Voicestick now charges $1 a month minimum which imo is the cheapest you will find for a place that offers fee porting. Also keep in mind that the $1 is not a fee but a minimum so that goes towards your calls. |

Jeff, is the voicestick usable with ata? How long do they take to port a number?
Thanks _________________ They laughed when I sat down at the piano. I forgot to bring a stool.

Thanks |
I ported after the Sunrocket Bomb which was when they first started to offer porting and it took about a month - I think. They've been porting a long time now and there customer service has gotten a lot better. There is a guy on dslreports forum that you can instant msg and is very responsive.
I use Voicestick with a SPA1001 with generally no issues. |
