I used the built-in swivel mount option (first picture) so I didn't have to wall mount. If I were to used the wall-mount option, it'd be about 2" from the wall, too tight to connect any wiring afterward. This TV stand costs a mere $199 from Costco. Similar stands in Fry's would have set me back about $300-$350.

I have this Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5000 Laser

My pc is downstairs, 50 ft away from the family room and no problems using the MX5000 keyboard/mouse from the family room.

While I wait for a DVI-to-HDMI cable to arrive, let me ask you this. Which resolution do you set your PC to display on the HDTV display? 1920x1080? Can you read text at 10-12 feet without using a pair of binoculars? Rolling Eyes

Yes i have it at 1920x1080 and my lazyboy is 15ft away from the tv, i can see the text just fine when surfing and checking email... You can always enlarge the text in your browser if you cant see them. I have a 8800gt 512 hdcp grafix card, a dvi to hdmi adapter, a 60ft hdmi cable, 3 3.5mm 60ft audio cables for my 5.1 surround sound.

What kind of video card do you have?

Lucky man Wink didn't save one for me Laughing Laughing

I was very tempted to get another one for the bedroom ... but I'll wait for laser TV to come out around Thanksgivings and get myself a bigger HDTV for my family room so that I could move the 52" LCD TV to the bedroom Laughing
