The portal is back with the number changing option. Looks like they are changing the look of the rest of the MagicJack site too.

Anyone else get the error?

I got that and now my magic jack won't register.


Dont be surprised if they take the portal down again til this bug is fixed. Thats why its in beta......

xyzzy - was your mj running when you tried the change - mine wasnt - and im thinking that might have been a cause

if i try in internet explorer - i get no serial number passed error - i think the failed attempt to change my number wiped out my sip info

Has anyone changed it successfully using Firefox?

I think now the only way it can be fixed is on their end, by opening a "ticket"

My magic jack was running when I tried to change the number. I just tried again with the magic jack unplugged and get the same error. I am trying to change from 206-497-XXXX to 908-333-XXXX.

I am running jre1.6.0_03 which I believe is the latest version and Firefox 2.0.0.11. I tried IE7 after failing on Firefox and it still fails.

I also noticed the last digit of my serial following the & symbol changed from a 1 to a 0 .I tried tech support - he told me within 24 hours he would have it resolved. I hope thats not magicjack time Smile
